No. The MMP code alone does not make you eligible for Marriott's Explore program. Confirm your access through the associate and complete official verification before choosing a restricted rate.
Marriott's current Explore overview names associates at Marriott-managed hotels and locations and eligible immediate family. It also describes adding friends and family. Ask the associate which offer applies to you; do not assume every relationship qualifies for MMP.

Marriott describes digital verification, an app badge and verified rates. This process removes additional program paperwork at check-in. Normal hotel identification and payment requirements still apply.
Added by an associate, but still unable to book?
Ask the associate to recheck your registration. If it is confirmed, contact Marriott through the app or its official support channel with the hotel, dates and exact error. A useful question is:
My associate has added me to Explore, but this reservation cannot be completed. Is my account verified, which available rate applies to me, and what needs to be corrected?
Provide account details privately through Marriott's support channel. Keep the error message and your booking details together so the response addresses the reservation you are trying to make.
If you cannot confirm Explore access, the ordinary member rate is an alternative. Bonvoy's terms, sections 1.1 and 1.3.b, describe free membership and member rates through Marriott channels at participating properties, with exceptions. For the same hotel, dates and room, compare the total including taxes and fees, meals and cancellation terms before booking.
